First Corn Harvest

We started harvesting the corn. We had corn on the cob last night. We have quite a few ears and I'm not exactly sure what we're going to do with them. Some Quinoa and black bean salad, some black bean salsa, some cowboy caviar. Basically a lot of salads. I guess that's what you do when you have a garden right?

Chad's joke at work is that we are growing corn to get a government corn subsidy next year.

Love Chad's idea. Hilarious. Yeah fresh corn. I think my kids would enjoy corn on the cob every single night if I put it in a garden.

You are growing corn to teach your children a vital lesson of the law of harvest. Keep up the good work.

Its amazing to me that as close as we live to each other you're eating corn and we're planting corn. In Pennsylvania there was a saying that your corn should be "knee high by the 4th of July." That's what we're shooting for here.
