Boxes to Cars

It was time for a movie night! Luann had the great idea to make box cars. Who knew there was something fun to do with moving boxes! We invited a family that Mr S does preschool with, so they made some cars during preschool this week. We made ones for the older kids the day of the event.

Mr S made another car, and taped it to the first one to make a double seat-er for JW. He is so thoughtful.

The kids were all so into the activity, they didn't get out of the cars for the entire movie. I have never seen any kid stay that still for so long!

Post Christmas Clean-up

Ah, the year is over, now for the clean up. We had to take TWO trips to the transfer station to get rid of all the boxes. Even though Mr S is not happy we don't have curb-side pickup of the garbage, it is nice to be able to dump an unlimited amount of stuff at the transfer station.

And, to top off the year, we got a little snow that was just enough to sled down our backyard hill.
